STREETINVEST (Now merged with the Consortium for Street Children) By far one of the most time consuming projects I worked on was the StreetInvest website. The charity already had the site but needed to transfer hosting to another provider who simply could not accomodate it as it was...so site had to be ‘replicated’. From resizing and recreating to resourcing images and adding taxonomies to adapting a free theme to fit the layout of the ‘original’ site, all took quite some time but the result is so much worth it!

Prisoners' Advice Service (PAS) The Prisoners' Advice Service is an independent registered charity which offers free legal advice and support to prisoners in England and Wales. PAS issues various toolkits and I was pleased to have designed a few of them!

Creative Baking This is what we call a ‘sweet project’. Jo, the baker needed a website to showcase her cakes and of course promote her baking! She was also keen to refresh a bit her brand, starting with a new logo. The logo needed to be as plain and simple as possilbe but at the same time elegant and appealing to her main audience (for corporates and weddings) and of course...a logo that conveys the nature of the business The website, would then be easy to craft.

Petersham & Ham Sea Scouts The Petersham and Ham Sea Scouts is one of the oldest scouts troops still in existence and in continuous operation since 1908. During this time the troop has endured many interesting events; their scout hut has burned down on several occasions, world wars have come and gone, though a corner of their field still contains the remnants of an old Spitfire from the last one, they have survived the rising Thames tide levels… The P & H Sea Scouts have been fundraising for a new eco friendly hut for the past 10 years, ‘The Phoenix’, to replace the current derelict and over 100 years old hut. THE ASK: Create a plain and simple, yet modern website that requires as little maintenance as possible and is intuitive to navigate. Create an online presence to suport fund applications and enable the community to find out more about the troop and how to join. Create various fliers and invitations for the colony’s flagship events. Some of the troop’s most important date in the calendar year is the Celebration of Scouting. The troop has been asking every year for an invitation that is shared online, in print across the borough and through social media.

International Steel Trade Association ISTA is a well respected and long standing membership organisation representing everyone in the steel trade industry. ISTA approached with the ask to start a simple website from scratch to update their outdated website. I am luch to have worked with ISTA and open my eyes to whole new industry.

Specialist Travel Consortium Andrew is the owner of STC Ski, offering bespoke ski holidays for ski lovers, specialising on customised holidays for every budget. When he ventured into golf, offering golf desitnation holidays, he asked for a clean website where he can advertise desitnations and golf courses he can offer. The result was one of my favourite sites. The images alone are breath taking! And of course the site is exactly as Andrew wanted..

EKO EKO was a marketing agency that founder Eddie (rest his soul) reinvented a few years after leaving the charity sector. Eddie needed a website and some brand guidance to enable his agency buid up momentum after years of inactivity. THE ASK First and foremost a minimal typographic logo in balck and white if possible, cubes or squares. Something simple and ‘not flashy’ but bold. Also a website... perhaps a long scroll one page webpage. Eddie worked tireslly on many projects at the same time, when sadly COVID happened and months of preparations brought everything to a halt. Eddie a good friend and colleague, passed away before seeing his project coming to fruitition.
